Cookie policy

The short version

This site sets no advertising cookies and no tracking cookies. It shows no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to: the analytics work without cookies, and the only cookie you receive remembers your language.

The cookies actually set

NEXT_LOCALE — language preference

• Purpose: remember whether you read the site in French or in English.
• Contents: the value fr or en. Nothing else.
• Lifetime: one year.
• Set: the first time you arrive on an address without a language prefix, and each time you switch language.
• Issued by: this site. No third party can read it.

If you refuse it or delete it the site still works: your language is simply worked out again from your browser settings on each visit.

The admin session cookie

A second cookie exists, but you will not receive it. It is issued only after a successful sign-in to the admin console, which only the agency uses to publish. It is httpOnly, HTTPS-only, valid for seven days, and it does nothing but hold that session open.

Analytics without cookies

We count page views with a tool written for this site and hosted with it. No third-party script is loaded: no Google Analytics, no advertising pixel, no social button, no embedded third-party video. The typefaces are served from our own domain.

Nothing is written to your device. Each page view is attached to an identifier computed from your IP address, your browser and a salt that changes at midnight UTC, then truncated. Your IP address is never stored. The next day the calculation produces a different identifier, so following a visitor from one day to the next is impossible by construction. These events are deleted after 90 days.

If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, nothing is measured at all. What gets recorded is set out in full in the privacy policy.

The contact form

The form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to keep automated submissions out. The check runs in your browser when you send the form and may store a short-lived technical token there while your message is validated. It is not used to follow you between sites and is not used for advertising.

Controlling cookies

Your browser lets you inspect, block and delete cookies from any site, including this one. Refusing them does not stop you reading the site: you will just have to choose your language again.

Changes

If a cookie is added or removed, this page is updated and the date at the top changes.
